This is a hand-translated English version of every release of the plug-in, 1.0 to 1.7. The plug-in no longer gets new features: new work happens in the LmBox Bridge desktop app.

1.7 · 2026-08-06

Good news: the LmBox Bridge desktop app is officially released, so please move to it soon. It has more features and runs more smoothly; this plug-in will not get new features, and everything new lands in the desktop app. Your account still signs in and your membership benefits stay the same. Download it from the website.

New

• Added the Toolkit tool Sony lens flags, which syncs Sony shooting status flags so you can filter good takes and mark them with _ShotMark1.
• Added Split view, which uses the crop tool to build split-screen layouts quickly.
• Added the Toolkit tool for importing Sony media from FCPX XML, which brings Sony media from FCPX and Premiere XML files onto the timeline with the original timecode.

Fixes

• Sound library now shows waveforms for more formats.
• Fixed images going offline after import in LmBox Bridge Core, and timecode going offline with Sony media.
• Fixed long file names in the Sound library sidebar that could not be deleted.

Improvements

• Added the Exclusive folder opening setting, which folds folders you are not using.
• Sound library gains favorite ratings, color labels, file name translation, search and more.

• Improved how the Toolkit's Sony timeline import and repair handles mixed media.
• Made the whole extension wider.
• The window remembers its last position, size and always-on-top setting.

• Sound library imports straight to the timeline at the playhead, the sidebar width can be dragged, and music names show in full.
• The edit bar of Caption replace is now fixed in place.
• Improved the help guide and button tooltips of Font library.
