Using Aep template packs

This is the default view, with all the tool buttons. It is quite simple.

The Ae template shelf in detail

• Play the preview
• Pause the preview
• Imports the selected preview into the Ae composition, aligned so its In point sits at the playhead. A free track is picked automatically so existing media is not covered.
• Manage and run jsx and jsxbin script files.

TIP

• If an imported Ae template is not in Chinese, switch Source Name to Layer Name on the left of the timeline. The script manager is a Lab tool, so use it only when the conditions are met.

The buttons below are shared

• View your favorite items.
• Adjust the preview volume (if any).
• Switch packs, install packs and view the user status.

Import an Ae template

Note

You need a valid timeline or composition, and it must be selected, before you can import.

• Double-click the spectrum preview in the list to import quickly.
• Or select a preview and click the Import button on the shelf.
