Using sound effect packs

From LmBox Bridge V2.0 on, the sound shelf has two forms. Which one you see depends on the page layout. Also worth knowing: sound effect packs work in both Pr and Ae.

This is the default view with all the function buttons. It shows when the page layout is Grid or List with Top preview mode.

This is the simplified view. It shows when the page layout is Grid or List with Preview mode.

The sound shelf in detail

• Play the sound preview
• Pause the sound preview
• Imports the selected sound onto the Pr timeline, aligned so its In point sits at the playhead. A free track is picked automatically so existing media is not covered
• Quickly replace a sound you do not like on the timeline. You need to select a sound clip that is already on the timeline, and the Replace button must be active.
• Preview and set the sound speed before you import. After you set it, the import follows the previewed effect.
• Reverse the sound. After you set it, the item can be imported to the Pr timeline in sync.

The buttons below are shared

• View your favorite items.
• Adjust the preview volume (if any).
• Switch packs, install packs and view the user status.

Import sound

Note

You need a valid timeline sequence or composition, and it must be selected, before you can import.

• Double-click the spectrum preview in the list to import quickly.
• Or select a preview and click the Import button on the shelf.
• To replace a sound already on the timeline, select the sound to be replaced, then double-click in the extension list or click the Replace button.
