Using motion graphics packs

Desktop app guide

The full guide for "Motion graphics" in the LmBox Bridge desktop app is Motion graphics (MOGRT) (including translating a template from the right-click menu). This page focuses on pack activation and the early LmBox Bridge toolbar.

TIP

Activate and switch to the pack before you use it. How: Activate or switch packs

This is the default view, with all the tool buttons.

The motion graphics shelf in detail

  • Play the preview
  • Pause the preview
  • Imports the selected motion graphics template onto the Pr timeline, aligned so its In point sits at the playhead. A free track is picked automatically so existing media is not covered.
  • Choose whether to import the 16:9 or the 9:16 template, so the animation and movement are not cropped.
  • Imports the sound (if any) together with the motion graphic. I do not recommend importing the sound, because it cannot be adjusted after import.
  • Every template has a unique ID. Click it to activate the motion graphics templates on the timeline in one batch.

Notes when creating

The IDs of templates you created earlier change every month. If a project from last month or earlier shows Unverified source, click once to activate the templates on the timeline in one batch.
After you create a template, as long as the Program panel looks right, it does not matter if the Source panel looks wrong.

The buttons below are shared

  • View your favorite items.
  • Adjust the preview volume (if any).
  • Switch packs, install packs and view the user status.

Import motion graphics

Note

You need a valid timeline sequence or composition, and it must be selected, before you can import.

  • Double-click the spectrum preview in the list to import quickly.
  • Or select a preview and click the Import button on the shelf.
